What can you do with tights? DIY cleaning gadgets!

A run in your tights is not a problem – DIY gadgets for the perfect homemaker
When we notice a run in our tights, especially our favorite ones, we sadly throw them away, thinking they are useless. This is not true! Women's tights are made of a specific material that can be used to create fantastic DIY gadgets useful for cleaning.
In the previous post about reusing women's tights, I convinced you that you can make a bun filler and the best hair ties out of them – delicate and gentle on your strands. Today I would like to share another patent with you for a run in your tights, namely – to make this accessory into a refrigerator cleaner and a glass surface polisher. Enjoy your reading!
Women's tights as a refrigerator cleaner
Cleaning the refrigerator is a tedious and boring job, but I have a simple way to make it easier. I only need two things for this: women's tights (with a run, snagged, or pilled – it doesn't matter) and... a sushi stick, which you can get in home furnishing stores. I tightly wrap the damaged women's tights around the stick, holding the entire construction with a rubber band. With this prepared, long and stiff "stick", I start cleaning the refrigerator. Such a DIY gadget reaches into all nooks and crannies (even into the corners of drawers or shelves, where the most dirt accumulates).

Cleaning the refrigerator is not everything though! If you glue two sushi sticks together to make the tool longer, you can also clean hard-to-reach places with it: under the refrigerator or between cabinets. Simple, isn't it?
A run in your tights? Make them into a polisher for mirrors and windows!
Women's tights are made of a material that is ideal for... polishing mirrors and glass surfaces! How to do it to get the best effect? First, wash the windows or mirrors as usual – preferably using a liquid with alcohol, which evaporates very quickly from glass surfaces. Then wipe the surface dry, roll the tights into a tight ball and quickly get to polishing the mirror or window. All streaks and smudges, under the friction of the soft material from women's tights, will disappear, and you will enjoy perfectly clean, glass surfaces – just like a perfect homemaker!

And you? What else do you use damaged women's tights for? Share your experiences in the comments!
