DIY Storage Gadgets

DIY jewelry box, paper cover, brush containers
DIY gadgets are always a great idea for reusing items that, in theory, are no longer useful to us. What can you make from old tights, a chocolate box, a wine glass box, or old jars? Read on!
In the service of ecology and in good conscience, I try not to waste things – I often repurpose them into various DIY gadgets, which I then use in different ways – for cleaning or as beauty accessories. Today, I want to show you how easy, simple, and quick it is to make DIY organizers for storage from what you have on hand.
What can you do with tights? A gift wrapping paper cover!
During the holiday season (and not only), many people have a problem with excess gift wrapping paper. Thrown to the bottom of a closet or tucked into a corner of a room, it creases and tears, and as a result – is no longer suitable for wrapping gifts for the next occasion.
What to do with old tights? A cover for just such papers! Simply wash an old pair of tights, cut off the legs, and presto – the cover is ready! Now you can insert a roll of gift wrapping paper into the legs, roll up the end of the "cover" and store the paper in a dry place. It will easily last until the next birthday, name day, or even the next holidays!

In addition, the answer to the question – what can you do with tights – is also to create covers for Christmas decorations, garlands, and baubles – just follow the same steps as for the gift wrapping paper cover.
DIY underwear organizer
A great way to use old wine or champagne glass boxes with characteristic dividers is to make a… DIY underwear organizer out of them! While such organizers are available in stores, their price is often surprisingly high. So instead of looking for ready-made solutions, I recommend creating a DIY underwear organizer.
As I mentioned earlier, a DIY underwear organizer can be made from a wine glass box. You can immediately place individual pieces of underwear into the compartments or decorate the box to your liking – with aluminum foil, paints, self-adhesive paper, or markers. Such a DIY organizer can also be useful in kitchen drawers for sorting spices or in a child's room – for storing small toys.

DIY cosmetic containers
What to do with old jars or pots that are lying in the basement or attic? A few of them can be used to create beautiful DIY brush containers. Just wash the containers thoroughly, decorate them with a ribbon and a bow, and voilà – DIY cosmetic containers are ready! You can store mascaras, eyeliners, and other long-packaged cosmetics, as well as makeup brushes in them.

DIY jewelry box
Jewelry boxes, while pretty on a dressing table, are not practical. Among a large amount of jewelry, it is hard to find a single pair of earrings or a favorite ring. And if chains are added, tangling of various elements is guaranteed. How to remedy this?
I suggest making a DIY jewelry box from... a chocolate box. The indentations for chocolates will serve as compartments for rings, earrings, or chains. You can cover the top, bottom, and sides of the box with paint or self-adhesive paper, as well as haberdashery decorations – bows, beads, or sequins. Done!
