But you don't have to throw them away immediately! A bun filler made from tights is a creative way to use a damaged accessory. Besides, this DIY gadget will save us money on shopping. The price of the cheapest, ready-made bun fillers is around twenty zlotys per piece, and we use worn-out tights for free. Additionally, a bun filler made from tights is softer and more elastic than its store-bought counterpart, so a bun made using this DIY gadget will look more natural.

How to make a bun filler from tights? Take an old pair and cut off the legs of the tights from the panty part with scissors. Then, also cut off the toe part. Turn the leg inside out to form a "doughnut with a hole" (if you want your filler to be really thick, combine two legs and turn them out together). That's it – our bun filler made from tights is ready! Now you can wrap your hair around it and enjoy a fashionable, durable, and at the same time stably looking hairstyle! When making a bun filler from tights, it's worth remembering to choose the right color – brunettes can use women's tights in black or brown, while blondes can use beige models.
