DIY scented gadgets

What can you do with tights when they are no longer wearable? In previous articles, I wrote about how to make DIY gadgets for the perfect homemaker and hair accessories. Today, I want to show you how easily you can use women's tights to create practical and at the same time pleasant accessories for everyday activities... scent accessories!
Many of us buy ready-made scented sachets for wardrobes or lingerie drawers and spend a lot of money on bath liquids and oils. Creating these gadgets yourself will not only save you some money but will also give you satisfaction from your own creative and enjoyable work.
What can you make from tights? A scented sachet for your wardrobe!
What to do with old tights? Make a scented sachet for your wardrobe or lingerie drawer! Such a DIY gadget will not only make the moment of choosing your clothes more pleasant every day, but also your entire day – the scent enclosed in the sachet will penetrate your clothes and keep them fresh all day long!
How to make a scented sachet from old tights? It's simple! Prepare unused women's tights (for a scented sachet, the thinner the tights, the better – the scent will spread much more intensely), scissors, green or black tea leaves, essential oils (choose scents according to your preference – essential oils can be bought in herbal stores and pharmacies) and decorative ribbon or string.

A scented sachet made from tights is a great alternative to ready-made sachets!
Take previously washed, old women's tights and cut off both legs slightly above the ankle area. Fill them with dried tea leaves, then sprinkle the leaves with essential oils of your chosen scents (my favorite combination is bitter orange with vanilla, and also lavender with mint for those who like fresher scents). Now all you have to do is tie the scented sachet with a ribbon or string to create a loop, and it's ready! The scented sachet can be hung on a hanger or a small nail hammered into the side or door of a wardrobe. It will also serve its purpose in a drawer among lingerie, socks and accessories, and in a shoe cabinet.
What to do with old tights? Bath oil enclosed in a delicate sachet
Bath oil as a DIY gadget made from women's tights is a great way to make long, cold winter and autumn evenings more pleasant. To make it, simply pour dried lemon or orange peel, coconut flakes, or simply – kitchen salt into a cut-off leg (just like with the scented sachet) and soak the contents with essential oils. To further increase the moisturizing properties of the mixture, it is worth adding half a teaspoon of coconut oil or shea butter, and if you want the scent to be more festive – add cloves and cinnamon.

DIY bath oil is a great idea for autumn and winter baths!
Then, all you have to do is tie the sachet and hang it on the faucet, directly under the stream of water. Such a bath oil will immediately fill the bathroom with a beautiful scent, and you will be able to enjoy a relaxing and – most importantly – natural beauty ritual.
