    What workout clothes should I choose and which workouts do I recommend?

    In winter, the best way to stay in good shape and maintain a slim figure is to exercise at home. Why? When it gets cold outside, we often can't motivate ourselves to go to the gym after work or, even worse, exercise outdoors. And there's nothing surprising about that.

    It is in winter that I choose home exercises that only require a mat and... workout clothes. While no one sees or judges us in the privacy of our home, it's always more pleasant to work out in well-fitting and attractive sports clothes. The right yoga or workout attire not only makes it easier to perform various poses but also boosts self-esteem and subconsciously "encourages" us to be active. After all, if we've already spent a certain amount on it, it would be a shame for the clothes to just sit in the closet...

    Today I would like to share with you my favorite workouts, which can be easily found online, as well as what I wear during my workouts. Happy reading!

    Yoga at home – for calming down

    When I come home after a hard day and want to reset my mind, I choose yoga at home. Most often, I practice with Agata from the blog Poczuj się lepiej – it was thanks to her YouTube videos that I became convinced that yoga at home can be really simple and enjoyable. It works great for body flexibility, helps to relax, or – best in the morning – to boost energy. The author of the blog has created a whole series of workouts that help us get rid of various ailments – you will surely find something for yourself among them!

    What yoga attire do I recommend? The most important thing is that it should not restrict movement. Ordinary workout leggings (long or 3/4 length) will work well here, as they facilitate stretching (unlike sweatpants with a dropped crotch). When I want to feel more feminine, I slip into lace leggings and loose long-sleeved workout tops – this outfit usually works well for calmer, calming sequences. Moreover, lace leggings or a complete yoga outfit will be a perfect gift for your mom, friend, or sister, with whom you can practice together! Besides workout leggings, you will also need a yoga mat. Despite appearances, it's not an expensive purchase – online, you'll find both budget versions for beginners and more expensive ones, useful for those performing more advanced asanas.

    Home mat exercises – great for the spine!

    The second type of training I love is home exercises by Kasia from the website Trening na bosaka. Her workouts are designed to strengthen specific body parts (especially those that help maintain proper posture). This is an ideal option for anyone who works at a computer or stands a lot. Kasia's home exercises help to relax on the one hand, and on the other – bring real relief from ailments related to muscle stiffness or back pain.

    For "Trening na bosaka" (Barefoot Training), I always wear tight workout leggings that cover my knees, as many positions are performed in a support stance. Additionally, I choose workout tops that are breathable and quickly wick away moisture – because during Kasia's training (even though they are very short), you can sweat quite a bit. Besides that – as the name of the workouts suggests – the workout attire does not include shoes, as we move barefoot. And here's a tip – at first, I did these workouts on a rug, but a mat provides significantly better grip to the ground – and that's why I recommend buying one.
