Fighting Cellulite at Home – Part II

Chinese cupping massage and relaxing shower treatments
In the previous post about anti-cellulite massage, I told you how to perform a classic massage and how to use a natural bristle brush for such a treatment. Today I want to tell you about two additional accessories that significantly support the fight against orange peel skin, and when used regularly along with diet and exercise, can help in completely getting rid of this problem.
The methods presented below improve blood circulation, increase skin elasticity, and also make the body take on a healthy, beautiful color. We are, of course, talking about Chinese cupping massages and anti-cellulite scrubs, used with a massage glove or sponge. Happy reading!
Chinese cupping massage
Fighting cellulite, in addition to diet and physical activity, can also be supported by Chinese cupping massage. This small, rubber item, used regularly, can do a lot. However, there are contraindications to this treatment: it should not be performed by people who suffer from broken capillaries, or those who have varicose veins. In all other cases, Chinese cupping massage is a great ally in fighting cellulite.
Chinese cupping massage wonderfully stimulates the body and reduces orange peel skin. How to perform it? You will, of course, need Chinese cups, which can be easily bought in online drugstores and stationary pharmacies. A set of cups costs about 20 zlotys - it's not a big investment, as they can be used many times - just wash them with warm soapy water after each treatment. In addition, you need to get a fairly oily oil, which provides adequate glide on the skin. Apply it generously to selected body parts, and then proceed with the Chinese cupping massage. Before placing one of them on the skin, squeeze it with your fingers, and only then "stick" it to the body. If the cup "sucks in" a piece of the body, it means you have applied it correctly. Now, start making circular movements (as with other types of anti-cellulite massage - from the bottom of the body upwards), massaging the chosen area without detaching the cup from it.
Initially, Chinese cupping massage can be a bit painful, but over time the body gets used to this treatment and its duration can be extended. However, a firming massage using these accessories should not last longer than 15 minutes (per body part, which means that you can massage one thigh or buttock for a maximum of 15 minutes).
Chinese cupping massage is a ritual that not only firms the skin, but also – thanks to the use of an oil rich in natural ingredients – smooths it, tightens it, and restores a beautiful, healthy complexion. After the first treatments, small bruises may appear, but there is no need to worry – this is a normal symptom that does not last long. For this reason, however, I do not recommend performing Chinese cupping massage before holidays or before a big event.

Chinese cupping massage - a fantastic gadget for fighting cellulite
Firming massage in the shower
Fighting cellulite at home can also take place... in the bath or shower! Currently, there are many accessories, gadgets, and cosmetics available on the market that can be used in water. One of the most popular is anti-cellulite scrub - ready-made cosmetics usually contain salt or sugar, as well as sea minerals or caffeine. However, it is worth taking a few moments to make your own anti-cellulite scrub - just mix a little coffee grounds with sugar or salt and your favorite shower gel. With such a mixture, we perform an anti-cellulite massage on wet skin, stroking it in circular motions, from the ankles up to the shoulders and décolletage. Peeling firms the skin, gives it a beautiful color, smooths it, and prevents ingrown hairs after depilation.
The second method is a shower massage using a sponge or massage glove. Both of these accessories are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased in most drugstores. It is important that the surface of the massage glove or special sponge is quite rough - only in this way can blood circulation be stimulated, and as a result, cellulite be reduced.
The best way to perform an anti-cellulite massage at home, during a bath, is to combine both of these methods. A short treatment with a massage glove or sponge is worth doing even daily, and an anti-cellulite scrub - once every few days. As with all the methods I've mentioned, consistency is key here - without it, no anti-cellulite massage will yield spectacular results.
