Truly Italian pasta

Recipe for Italian spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino
What is Italian cuisine famous for? For regional, fresh products, high-quality olive oil, delicious seafood, added vegetables (especially tomatoes), and... simplicity! My fascination with Italian cuisine stems mainly from the fact that Italians can conjure up true masterpieces of culinary art from a combination of a few simple, but excellent quality ingredients. One of them is... spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino!
Today I want to show you that spaghetti aglio olio, due to its simplicity, is perfect as an ideal dish for a date, a get-together with friends, or a meal prepared for an impromptu dinner. It takes literally 12-20 minutes to make, and its taste is a unique combination of truly Italian ingredients! What do you need to prepare to conjure up Italian pasta in just a few moments?
Ingredients needed for spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino
(serves 4)
400 grams of pasta
8 cloves of garlic
1 small chili pepper
8 tablespoons of olive oil
a bunch of parsley

Spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino – perfect for a date
Preparation of spaghetti aglio olio:
Peel the garlic and slice it thinly (do not press it through a garlic press!).
Cut the chili pepper (always use gloves), remove the seeds and white membrane, then slice the pepper into thin strips.
Cook the pasta al dente (about 8 minutes in boiling, quite heavily salted water). Drain the pasta and reserve half a glass of the cooking water.
Pour olive oil into a frying pan. Once hot, add the garlic and fry for about 4 minutes until lightly browned. Then add the chili pepper and fry for another 2 minutes.
Pour half a glass of the reserved pasta cooking water into the pan, then add the cooked pasta and chopped parsley. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and season with salt if necessary.
And there you have it – spaghetti aglio olio is ready! You can serve Italian pasta in this form or enrich it with seafood – shrimp or octopus cooked in butter, cooked crayfish, or mussels. Enjoy your meal!
