Italian tights - a byword for high quality

Italian designers and the quality of their tailoring are renowned worldwide. Why is that? Are Italian garments – clothing and accessories – of better quality than those produced elsewhere? Where does this country's love for fashion come from? I invite you to an article where you'll discover some interesting facts about Italian fashion!
Among all clothing accessories, as well as cuts and garments, Italian hosiery stands out – where does its popularity come from? First and foremost, Italian actresses like Sophia Loren and Monica Bellucci encouraged its wearing worldwide. It's not that they appeared in commercials, but they wore this garment daily – especially classic self-supporting stockings – black, sheer, with a back seam. They could also be seen in sheer tights in dark or nude colors – everyday, at grand galas, in films, and TV series. Italian women, following their idols, also began to wear such garments, which led hosiery mills to produce them in large numbers and with high quality. On the wave of popularity of hosiery products in sunny Italy, this fashion also spread to other countries, and Italian hosiery thus became synonymous with modern and detail-oriented tailoring.

Italian designers – thanks to them, artisanal tailoring is so valued today
Italian fashion gained popularity not only due to hosiery. This country is home to the most famous designers whose creations are worn by stars worldwide: actors and actresses, celebrities, singers. Well-known names include Giorgio Armani, Guccio Gucci, Miuccia Prada, Donatella Versace, Domenico Dolce, and Stefano Gabbana. Italian fashion, in addition to being characterized by meticulous attention to detail, also possesses a specific lightness, a touch of nonchalance and madness, while maintaining classic cuts and elegant color combinations and textures.
Italian designers are also known worldwide for each presenting their unique style: Gucci is romantic freedom, Prada – elegance with a touch of youthful rebellion, and Armani – the classic of Italian tailoring, starting with perfectly cut suits and ending with perfectly fitted ball gowns. Italian fashion is therefore recognizable, characteristic, unique – and that's why customers worldwide value it.

How Italian women dress? Take their example!
The style in which Italian women dress invariably delights both men and women worldwide. Why is this so? Women in sunny Italy are able to perfectly emphasize their body shapes without appearing vulgar. If they wear a deep neckline, the skirt will reach mid-calf. If the dress is short, they pair it with a high-neck blouse. Additionally, Italian women are aware that an outfit – to look sensual – doesn't always have to be skimpy and tight-fitting.
How Italian women dress is defined by one word: sprezzatura. This applies to both women's and men's clothing and means nonchalance. Loose shirts revealing slender wrists, high-waisted skirts emphasizing the waist, comfortable linen trousers, charming hats, and low-heeled shoes – lengthening the legs yet comfortable – these are the garments Italian women love most. Add thin, classic Italian tights and delicate jewelry, and... that's it – a sprezzatura-style outfit!
