    Timeless autumn fashion consists of a few essential items that every woman surely has in her wardrobe: a trench coat or a duster coat, a colourful fur coat, loafers, ankle boots with cut-outs, and warm chino-style trousers. However, to prevent such an ensemble from being too boring, it's worth adding interesting accessories – eye-catching and distinguishing us from the crowd – and when it comes to autumn outfits, it's actually not hard to disappear in that crowd. One such accent is sheer socks, which until recently were considered underwear, but now appear in the outfits of top stylists and on the runways of leading designers. How to wear them this autumn?

    Sheer socks with cut-out ankle boots – because every detail matters

    Socks for ankle boots – especially low ones with an openwork pattern or cut-outs – should be carefully chosen to match this type of footwear.     Socks for ankle boots are mostly hidden inside the shoe's shaft. So what about slightly more open models, such as loafers, Oxfords, or moccasins? Sometimes these are the best choice for a dress or skirt, as well as for tailored trousers – for formal meetings or, simply, for the office. In such a situation, thin socks will also pass the test!

    Elegant autumn outfits with narrow trousers and loafers will gain extraordinary lightness and chic thanks to the use of thin sheer socks. These can be patterned models, with a shimmering thread, or completely plain – it's up to you what character you give this combination. Socks with delicate patterns draw attention to the shoes, and peeking out from under trouser legs, they optically slim the ankle, making the whole silhouette more proportionate and "runway-ready".
