Wedding and bridal tights

Sheer tights, suspender stockings, or maybe spray-on tights?
Although the wedding season theoretically falls in the warmer months of the year, more and more such ceremonies are now being organized in autumn, winter, and early spring. Winter weddings in beautiful, snowy scenery, as well as autumn photo shoots among colorful leaves, have become particularly popular. From the guests' perspective, however, one problem arises – which tights to choose for such an occasion?
Tights for a wedding should primarily look great and match the entire outfit, as well as provide thermal comfort – especially if the event takes place in the autumn or winter months. Additionally, wedding tights should not show through the dress, so it's worth looking for seamless tights. What else should you pay attention to when choosing this accessory?
Tights for a wedding – which ones to choose?
How to choose tights for a wedding that match the outfit, weather, and occasion? This is quite a difficult task, especially since more and more ceremonies are held in autumn, winter, and early spring, when the temperature does not encourage showing bare legs.
If the wedding takes place in autumn or spring, it's worth wearing semi-sheer tights for the wedding – 20-40 den. This model will protect your legs from the cold during the ceremony in the church and while moving from the church to the wedding venue. Remember that these should be seamless tights, especially when wearing a tight dress. As for the color of wedding tights, it's best to stick to classics. Semi-sheer tights in shades of beige, navy blue, grey, and black are universal and match almost any outfit (it's worth having a spare pair in your purse or a small bottle of nail polish to dab on runs to prevent them from spreading further).

Sheer tights in summer are a choice consistent with the dress code
If your dress is plain (we recommend wedding dresses from lejdi.pl) and doesn't have too many embellishments, you can venture to wear patterned tights for the wedding. However, remember that the patterns should be in the same shade as the tights themselves. These can be floral ornaments, shimmering lurex details (a special metallic yarn), or a thin stripe at the back that optically elongates the leg.
Suspender stockings are also an interesting option for a wedding reception. This is a suggestion for bold ladies – such a solution adds self-confidence and also... makes it easier to use the restroom. However, before deciding on stockings with a suspender belt, it's worth trying them on with the dress you plan to wear – if the dress is short enough or "unruly" that it exposes the top of the stockings during dancing and wild spins – abandon this accessory. Showing underwear is, after all, in poor taste.
Tights for a winter wedding, on the other hand, should be even thicker. In this case, we can safely opt for opaque tights with a thickness of 60-80 den. They have the undisputed advantage that, when combined with heels of the same color, they optically slim and lengthen the legs. Furthermore, opaque tights in classic black match almost any outfit and any dress color.
And which tights to choose for a summer wedding? According to the standard dress code, it should be a sheer model (8-15 den). Black will probably not work here – skin-colored tights will be best, unifying the skin tone and optically improving the appearance of the legs. Summer wedding styles should be light – that's why black (even in terms of tights color) is not an appropriate choice here.

Nude seamless tights will work well for both the bride and guests
Spray-on tights are also a good solution in summer. I wrote about them in this article – you can check how to apply them to avoid streaks. They improve the appearance of the legs and envelop them in a mist of color, giving them a delicate tan shade. Spray-on tights do not run off the skin (even when sweating) and are very easy to apply.
