Slow fashion in practice

Homewear styles for lazy days
Slow fashion is a philosophy regarding the way we dress and build our wardrobes, which I constantly try to follow. Sometimes I succeed more, sometimes less (especially during sales), but ever since I started to get interested in this topic, my approach to clothes has changed a lot. How? Read on to find out!
Slow fashion is an idea that advocates a rational and balanced approach to buying clothes. It means that we buy fewer, better quality items instead of making large purchases during sales (during which we acquire a lot of poor quality clothes, and in most cases, we don't even wear them later). Slow fashion also promotes buying from niche designers who create items from good quality materials, usually in small batches – this way, we don't support large clothing corporations, but small, local businesses. All positives!
Fewer clothes in our wardrobes not only save our wallets but also represent an eco-friendly approach to shopping. Buying clothes according to the slow fashion idea also eliminates the eternal problem of women asking, "I have nothing to wear." Suddenly, it turns out that the items we buy thoughtfully start to match each other in terms of colors and styles.
Slow fashion is also a guide for me to appreciate myself. Therefore, I no longer have clothes "for special occasions" – I simply treat every day as special, so I dress every day to look nice and at the same time feel good in the chosen items. For this reason, I also threw away all my old sweatpants and stretched-out undershirts that had holes, stains, and simply looked bad. Today, I would like to tell you about this aspect of slow fashion – home outfits in which you are not ashamed to show yourself to the courier or quickly run to the store. The point is to be comfortable and at the same time feel beautiful and ready for action. Even if that action is lounging at home.
Winter tights – what to pair them with?
One of my favorite ways to spend time at home is cooking, watching movies or TV series, and reading books. I know that many of us love this way of spending time and often do it... in pajamas or old sweatpants – completely unnecessarily! My home outfits usually consist of thick tights and dresses... for around the house. This combination makes me feel feminine even when I'm lying on the couch in front of the TV. Winter tights made of good materials effectively keep you warm, and a soft, cotton "house" dress gives a feeling of lightness and looks incredibly feminine. To this, I add warm slippers, arm myself with hot chocolate or tea, and... I'm ready to lounge!

Warm over-the-knee socks – the ideal home outfit
Home outfits don't have to be based solely on winter tights – for me, they are very comfortable, but I know some girls might not like them. A good alternative for them would be warm over-the-knee socks, which can be styled in many ways. One way is with the previously mentioned soft, cotton dresses for around the house, and another is with comfortable tunics. Dark – black or grey over-the-knee socks not only provide warmth but also optically slim the legs and are incredibly comfortable – they don't restrict movement and don't make you too hot. If women's over-the-knee socks are thick enough, they can even replace warm slippers!

Leggings with lace – a feminine accessory for autumn and winter evenings
Feminine, home outfits can also be conjured up by... leggings fans! With tunics or dresses for around the house, leggings with lace will look beautiful, emphasizing the feminine character of the outfit. This item of clothing is elastic, does not restrict movement, and also perfectly maintains thermal comfort, so you certainly won't get cold while watching your favorite series or reading a book. Opaque lace leggings also look great with loose t-shirts and long, wool, open cardigans.
Home outfits don't have to be boring, and you don't have to put them together from old, stretched-out blouses or sweatpants. Just put a little effort into putting together good quality lace leggings, warm over-the-knee socks or winter tights, as well as cotton house dresses or charming tunics, and your outfit for home relaxation is ready!

Lace leggings or leggings with a heel hole are a fantastic alternative to sweatpants!
And you, what do you prefer to wear at home? Do you pay attention to it at all? Or maybe today I convinced you that it's worth it? Let me know what you think!
