How to motivate yourself for summer running, long walks, bike rides, and other activities?

Summer is a time when – contrary to appearances – many people don't feel like engaging in physical activity. The gym membership lies forgotten at the bottom of a drawer, it's too hot outside, and the results achieved in spring in the form of a beautiful physique make us lose motivation for further exercise. This is a mistake! How can you maintain regularity in activity – even despite discouragement?
First and foremost, you need to realize that you don't have to punish yourself with exhaustive gym workouts to achieve desired results or maintain those you've already accomplished. It's worth treating long walks, bike rides, or running in the forest as part of your daily routine, as valuable time spent – with family or friends. Such exercises don't have to be intense at all – just moving for 30-40 minutes 3 times a week is enough to notice an improvement in physical condition, skin quality (reduced visibility of cellulite), and well-being. Additionally, it's worth getting appropriate sportswear, the mere presence of which in your wardrobe motivates you to exercise. The basic element of such an outfit should be sports leggings. In my opinion, there's nothing better for fitness and figure than running in the summer. I usually choose the evening hours – so that the high temperature doesn't hinder me from achieving better results. If I have the opportunity, I choose to run in the forest – then I can oxygenate myself, my muscles work, and my mind rests from daily worries. To fully enjoy such a workout, you should choose comfortable clothing. Shoes that cushion the impact of the foot on the ground and protect joints from injury are very important. Moreover, I love to do this activity in ¾ length running leggings, which are flexible, adapt to the body, and at the same time their material dries very quickly. The t-shirt is also important – I choose one that doesn't restrict movement, and at the same time doesn't fall off the shoulders or expose the stomach.

Long leggings for cycling
Bike rides in and out of the city are one of my favorite ways to spend time – especially with family and friends. Cycling doesn't tire me as much as running, but it also allows me to take care of my body and physical condition. I most often choose long cycling leggings, which guarantee me protection against chafing on my legs (e.g., from protruding branches). When buying, I also pay attention to the high elasticity of the material. This is especially important in summer when legs swell after a whole day, and the movement performed on the bike can stretch the fabric excessively at the knees or around the buttocks. My favorite cycling leggings have vertical stripes on the sides of the legs, which optically slim the figure and look great with any t-shirt or sweatshirt.

Yoga on the beach – choose elastic sports leggings!
When I'm on vacation by the sea, I choose yoga on the beach – I assume that during a holiday we deserve to rest, and yoga is one of its forms. While performing individual poses (which don't have to be overly engaging), I stretch my muscles and clear my mind. For such exercises, yoga leggings are needed, which are definitely a more comfortable alternative to loose, tracksuit pants. Some positions require bending over, a specific way of sitting, or intertwining legs, and baggy pants can hinder these movements. For such exercises, it's worth choosing opaque leggings so that they don't reveal underwear and provide comfort when practicing yoga on the beach or in other natural settings.

Long walks – in the park or forest
If you don't like yoga, and bike rides or running in the park are too much effort for you, I suggest replacing these activities with... long walks! A brisk walk or walk-runs beautifully shape the figure – from the waist, through the hips, to the calves. For such a walk, it's also worth choosing comfortable clothing – I opt for ¾ leggings with colorful inserts, which look great and don't restrict movement. In winter, they are also useful for the gym, so it's worth getting several pairs right away. In addition to sports leggings, for long walks, it's worth taking care of comfortable shoes that – just like when running – will protect your joints by cushioning your steps.
