Best Halloween Makeup and Costumes
Halloween is over! This year, many celebrities and bloggers rose to the occasion, and we could admire inspiring Halloween makeup and outfits on social media. Some were sensual, others terrifying, but all were characterized by creativity and ingenuity.
In addition, beauty bloggers and vloggers opted for bold Halloween makeup. This year, it was fashionable to portray characters from horror films, folk tales, and... pop culture. I've chosen what I believe are the best Halloween looks from bloggers and celebrities – what do you think of them? Let me know in the comments and share what costumes you chose!
Julia Kuczyńska – Maffashion
Maffashion chose a glamour version of a Halloween outfit. Her blog readers helped her choose the character she would dress up as this year. The choice was Cleopatra – Maffashion wore a sparkly creation, adorned her hair with an interesting headband, and her Halloween makeup was both beautiful and... a bit terrifying. See for yourselves:
Jessica Mercedes and Julia Wieniawa
Jessica Mercedes (one of the most famous Polish fashion bloggers) and Julia Wieniawa (actress and singer) spent this year's Halloween together at a costume party. The blogger created a very distinctive Halloween makeup and wore a sexy outfit with a leather skirt and a top with fishnet-like sleeves, while Julia Wieniawa dressed up as the Black Swan from Aronofsky's film. It must be admitted that they looked stunning together!
Katarzyna Pytel – Pani Ekscelencja
Katarzyna Pytel, known in the blogging fashion world as Pani Ekscelencja, also created spectacular Halloween makeup. She opted for a sweet version of a scary clown – the makeup was definitely time-consuming, but the effect is surprising and knocks you off your feet with its creativity:
Joanna Ferdynus Gołuszko – Maxineczka
Maxineczka never ceases to amaze with her creativity – last year, her YouTube audience was captivated by her idea for Enigma makeup – a mysterious woman hidden behind a black mask. This year, her Halloween makeup was a rendition of a character from Spanish folklore, specifically a weeping woman (la llorona). Isn't it terrifying?
Ewa Grzelakowska Kostoglu – Red Lipstick Monster
Halloween makeup doesn't always have to be terrifying – sometimes it can simply enhance beauty and femininity, and additionally, surprise with its subtlety. Red Lipstick Monster went this route this year – her Halloween outfit was a... lady Clown, in a very girlish version:
Honorata Skarbek – Honey
Celebrities prepared truly surprising creations and thematic makeup for Halloween. One of them is Honey – a singer, and more recently, a vlogger. This year, she opted for striking Halloween makeup – strong eyes, exaggerated lips, and fake scars. I only regret that she posted a black and white photo. I'm very curious how this makeup looked in real life:
Karolina Gołębiewska – StylizacjeTV
Karolina Gołębiewska, known from the StylizacjeTV channel, opted for very girlish Halloween makeup. She created a simple but effective look that many people could easily recreate at home. Bloggers' styles are often overdone, but Karolina chose simplicity and... a pumpkin motif:
Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan
Celebrities certainly weren't idle for Halloween! Małgorzata Rozenek and Radosław Majdan came up with incredibly interesting and creative costumes and dressed up as... Indians! It must be admitted that such Halloween outfits suit them perfectly, and they themselves feel great in them:
Katarzyna Zielińska
Among the celebrities who decided to showcase their Halloween costumes was Katarzyna Zielińska. She opted for a comfortable but feminine outfit referencing the Spanish image of death – she also highlighted her Halloween look with makeup. What do you think about it?
Tamara Gonzalez Perea – Macademian Girl
Halloween costumes and blogger outfits often reference terrifying characters from horror films. This year, however, Tamara Gonzalez Perea, known as Macademian Girl, decided to draw inspiration from the fantastic movie X-Men and dressed up as one of the main characters. She completely transformed her look with a blonde wig and a tight, latex costume:
